Privacy Policy

This privacy notice contains information on how we collect, store and otherwise process data concerning you as a visitor to this website.

Personal Information Collection

We do not seek to collect any personally identifying or identifiable information about you as you visit this website, except when knowingly provided by you.

Contact Forms

This website includes contact request forms which you can use to provide us with your contact details as well as ask questions, make requests and submit information with respect to any of our activities and services. The information you communicate to us in this manner will only be used to relay the details to us so that we can reach out to you and, where necessary, assist you with whatever requests or questions you may have.

Newsletter Subscription

We may offer newsletter subscription forms where you can voluntarily provide your email address and other contact information to receive our newsletters, updates, and marketing communications. By subscribing, you consent to receive these communications from us. You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link provided in each newsletter or by contacting us.

We will retain your information only for as long as it is necessary for the above-mentioned purposes. Where we collect personal data about you through contact forms or newsletter subscriptions, our legal bases for processing that data are:

  • our legitimate interests to initiate and manage customer relationships and to conduct our business in general (except where such interests are overridden by your privacy interests or fundamental rights and freedoms) and/or
  • fulfilling a contract between us or taking pre-contractual steps at your request.

Where our processing is exceptionally based on your consent, such consent will be obtained from you separately, and you can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us as specified below and/or as otherwise instructed upon obtaining your consent.

Website Analytics and Tracking

Google Analytics 4 (GA4), HubSpot, and Hotjar

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), HubSpot, and Hotjar to better understand how visitors use our website, analyze user behavior, and improve your experience. All three tools rely on cookies and similar technologies—but are only activated with your explicit consent.

  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4): Collects data such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited, time spent, and referral sources. This helps us analyze traffic and user behavior.
  • HubSpot: Gathers information on website interactions, including page views, form submissions, and other engagement metrics. It may also be used for customer relationship management.
  • Hotjar: Helps us understand your user experience (e.g., how much time you spend on which pages, which links you choose to click, what users do and don’t like, etc.). Hotjar uses cookies and other technologies to collect data on your behavior and device, including your IP address (processed during your session and stored in a de-identified form), device screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), browser information, geographic location (country only), and preferred language. Hotjar stores this information in a pseudonymized user profile. Hotjar is contractually forbidden to sell any data collected on our behalf.

When You Decline

If you choose not to consent:

  • No tracking requests are sent to GA4, HubSpot, or Hotjar.
  • Any existing cookies related to these services are deleted, and no new cookies are set. No data is collected or stored—anonymized or otherwise—by these services.

You can manage your preferences via our consent banner when you first visit, or at any time using the ‘Analytics Settings’ button located in our website footer. If you previously consented and wish to change your decision, clearing your browser cookies and revisiting our site will also allow the banner to reappear. When you decline consent, any existing cookies for these services are automatically deleted, and no new ones are set.

Cloudflare Web Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to collect relevant data and statistics about the use of our website, such as information on the top-performing pages, the number of views, and the top referrers to our website. Our analytics are non-invasive and respect your privacy as a visitor to this website. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not cookie you, collect your personal information, or track you across sites. In fact, the solution does not use any client-side state (such as cookies or localStorage) to collect usage metrics, and neither does it “fingerprint” individuals via their IP address, User Agent string, or any other data.

Cloudflare Security Services

Email Protection

We use Cloudflare’s email protection services to help prevent spam and protect email addresses displayed on our website from being harvested by automated bots. This service may temporarily process email addresses for protection purposes but does not store or track personal information.

Turnstile (CAPTCHA Alternative)

We use Cloudflare Turnstile as a privacy-friendly alternative to traditional CAPTCHAs to protect our website from spam and abuse. Turnstile analyzes browser characteristics and behavior patterns to distinguish between human users and automated bots. This service does not use invasive challenges or collect personal information, and it operates without storing cookies or tracking users across sites.

Your Rights

As a data subject, you have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning you is being processed by us, and where that is the case, request access to that data as well as to have any inaccurate or incomplete personal data rectified or completed. Depending on the circumstances, you may also have the right to object to the processing (in particular where it’s based on our legitimate interests), to request the erasure of the data or a restriction to its processing, and to receive the data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.

You also have the right to withdraw your consent for analytics tracking at any time, which will disable future tracking while not affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

Contact Information

Please contact us for any inquiries you may have related to exercising your data subject rights. If you consider our processing activities of your personal data to be inconsistent with applicable data protection laws, you may lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority. Contact details for the supervisory authority in Finland can be found at: www.tietosuoja.fi.

The data controller responsible for your personal data for the purposes of applicable Finnish and European Union data protection laws is Space and Time Oy (Business ID: 1781499-1). If you have any questions about this privacy notice or our data collection practices, please contact us.
